The difference between the 1969 and 1970 engines was camshaft and lifter set-up. 69 Mustang 429 boss engine models used hydraulic lifters while those built for the 1970 model year used mechanical lifters.

According to some websites, it says ” with such a low rpm limit the 429 Boss was able to hit 30 mph in 3.2 seconds, 60mph in 7.1 seconds, and 100 mph in 13.6 seconds”.

Horsepower for the year model 69 was rated at 375 hp and 450 pound-feet of torque.
